I'm too young to spend half the day in a cubicle -- a kind of experience that, had I considered it, I wouldn't have been so eager to gain. But the work is usually educational and sometimes interesting, and the money doesn't hurt either. There're woods outside too, and I've been eating lunch in them despite having to tweeze several ticks off my legs after the first day. The contrast is what matters.
Yesterday I finally saw Megan again after months and months, and ended up staying at her house strolling, swinging, talking, etc. a bit later than good sense would have dictated. I nearly went back to bed this morning after turning off my alarm, but last night was worth a few hours of lost sleep. The incredible thing is that I'm working only a few minutes from her house.
Sunday, Diana and I went to IHOP for breakfast, and then to the flea market, where we acquired several cartridges for antique Nintendo platforms, most notably Street Fighter II. I was basically helpless except when using Chun-Li. Humiliating.
Also my new MP3 player arrived a few days ago. I'm liking this summer so far.
