I rather like having to scrounge dinner in my room, especially when I've just stocked up on edibles. Tap water, crackers and cheese, fig newtons, beef jerky, dried mangoes, nuts, vanilla yogurt, and dark chocolate rated at 72% cocoa -- nearly the antithesis of dining hall food.
This semester has a not insignificant chance of reducing me to a drooling, quivering post-sentient husk, yoked to my keyboard, tormented by primal fears, baffled and dismayed by bright lights and loud noises, doomed to repeatedly tap out code and see it erased without explanation in an endless Sisyphean cycle. Or, alternatively, I'll decide that CS is indeed a viable major. If anything saves me, it'll be the lack of any classes before 11 AM.
Campus is ugly in the winter, especially without any snow to mask it.
