Under a colorless sky, snowflakes are drifting past my open window, through which summery breezes were blowing only a few days ago. Occasionally one snags and tears on the screen, leaving a fragment to melt slowly, studding my framed view of the outside world with glittering droplets. The uniquely gray luster of a snowy day spills vaguely across the near wall. It's nice.

Both of the football games this morning were brief and and merciless, though I judge my personal performance to've been sufficient. I'd say the team practices were the good bit of the season. Classes last week were easy, and I got back several papers and tests with surprisingly good grades. Dav has recently been singling me out as an opponent for philosophical debate, which had become almost a novelty to me over the past few years. Nowadays that kind of argument is as much a test of my patience as of my logical ability, especially when I'm opposite a Christian.
