Last night I finished a four-year project: completing Deus Ex, including all three endings, on the "realistic" difficulty setting. The game has aged gracefully -- the graphics are obviously crude, but the story, characters, dialogue, and fundamental brilliance of design (not to mention the simple joy of toasting some MJ12 with a plasma gun) still dominate the experience. My vision is augmented.
